Yes I do. I've run my 97 cobra into the 11.4's at over 120 mph. I'm currently building my 2003 cobra in attempts to shave a second an a half off the time lested above.

I think most everybody here has been to the dragstrip to see what their Cobra can do. Many of us would rather run the twisties as it is much more exciting running wide open for 30 minutes at a time and trying to be competitive on the track. :D

Every day is a race for me (well that is on the way to work) unfortunately during school time I go much slower than when school is not in service. Taking a cruise throught the twisties is fun and so is the highway, but I would rather sit in traffic in a staging lane to wait for my turn to run the straight line just to see what it will do at the end. Getting my numbers down and finnaly assured that the car will perform out of the box, now it is time to mod it

One of our own from TX does it very competitively.

The rest http://www.svtcobraclub.com/forums/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=1920

As a matter of fact, they are the ones that de-throned strictly at WF8 this year. Not to take anything away from strictly though, cause they ran strong.

There is a handful of drag racers in the Houston crew, there is also alot of open trackers,

and car show folks.

and cruisers.

It takes all kinda to make the world go around.

Alot of us do all four.

Yes a little bit...Not alot of drag racing for me like the twisties better. I sometimes have been goaded into a short Freeway blast. :D ;) We are a very DIVERSE group here we like to do it all.

PS what part of Cleveland are you from? I grew up in Cleveland Heights and still have family in Cleveland (Fairview, Pepper Pike, and I can't remember where the rest are ;) )

By the looks of it, I would assume that Daniel's car is loud considering the two behind the car using the universal ear plugs. Congrats on winning the Cobra Eliminator title in the WFC 8

I like to race!! I also like to pull my boat, do some sled pulling, run 11's at the track, go 4 wheelin, camping and throw my ATV's in the back from time to time. Did I also mention that I do all this with my race vehicle  . LOL, but most of all I love to race SVT cobra's at the track!! Win or Lose they are the most fun to play with.
