OKay, this is the first thing I saw when I entered the Gingerman Raceway Facility.

Photo 1. - Brian Groth with his 1995 R up on jacks with a piece if metal hanging out the rear pan.

Photo 2. Close up shot of the metal coming out of the pan, see arrow.

Photo 3. Brian, Lew, and a friend working on the 95 to put it back together.

Photo 4. Bling, bling! :rotf: (Chrome rear cover pan because it was all they could find)

Photo 5. Burke Dawson is now in the mix of things! ;)

But you have to hand it to Brian. With the help of a few he was able to take a near disaster and turn it around an be able to run the whole weekend. How many of the rest of us would have soldiered and wrenched? I think most anyone else would have just loaded it back on the trailer!

Same goes with Dave Stanfield.....he overcame his SC issues and was out there running sans SC! Just goes to show the nature of this club, more than just keepers of the bling....we really like the zing!

Thanks Dave, but most of the credit goes to dad, Tim, Dave stanfield, and Kevin for rounding up the parts and doing a majority of the work. That is part of what makes this club so great, everyone is always willing to pitch in.

Brian

PS: The chrome cover is already off, The ring gear was rubbing the cover, apparently that type of cover should have a gasket??? :doubt: The rear end is coming completely apart to get flushed and inspected.
