On my 01. It looks like the sway bar bushings are crappin' out. Also sound like it. What size am I supposed to use for replacements? I was planning to get greaseable poly but need to know the size. Don't have a micrometer. Any guess?

WVSNS-
You can get direct replacements from Maximum Motorsports. They have the right size and their is poly. I think they're only like $15-$20.

From what I gather from reading the Mustangs Unlimited lineup of sway bar bushings, you do need to measure the sway bar diameter to find out which bushings are appropriate, but you can apparently also change the bushing height, depending upon your ride/performance preferences.
(Maybe someone on the Forum knows a little--or a great deal--more than I about what is what with regard to changing bushing heights.)
The following is a link to one of the sets of urethane bushings at Mustangs Unlimited:

Go to Maximum Motorsports website and order the direct replacement
front and rear stabilizer bar bushings. They are poly and fit perfectly.
Super easy job. I would suggest changing the end link bushings on the
front end also, while you are doing the front sway bar. 1.5 hour job.
I used Maximum Motorsports bushings on my 2001 Cobra Coupe. I have
no squeak or other issues.
Control Arm and IRS sub-frame bushings are a whole other story. I save
that PITA for another posting.
p.s. 2001 Cobra front sway bar is 28mm, rear sway bar is 26mm.
