I would sell mine, its a 2003 red convertable, with only 21 k on it. I think I owe like 29 on it but would sell it for 27500 or so. Im not openly selling it but I would entertain a serious offer. The car drive awsome. I live north massachusetts, cloe to canada. I believe thats where your from I could be wrong. the car is in excellent condition, always garaged...im a neat freak.

I am a car dealer and I baught my 2003 Cobra Convertable on Ebay, for myself. We didnt go through Ebay but worked out a deal after his auction ended.
It worked out great. He owed about 30k...I gave him 24k and we went to his bank. We paid it off together and I walked away with the title and the car :) Simple.
The Cobra only has 13k miles and it already has an aftermarket exhaust. The car is like new...
Not everyone has 24k in cash(bank check) to plop down but I have baught many cars/trucks/jeeps using Ebay. I have never gone through the auction. We always come to terms before or after the bidding ends.
My findings: Other dealers tend to be liars. The general public is much more honest. I paid 9k for a Wrangler one time...I met them about 3hrs away(we met in the middle), pulled over on the highway...signed the paperwork, gave them the bank check and I was off...no test drive...the Jeep was as described. Simple...easy. All my experiences with the public has been easy and simple like this. But I make it easy as well...I tell them, if it is described right, I will buy the car. I won't beat on the price or nit-pic when I get there. Simple and Easy...thats my motto.
Two times I made deals with Dealerships and the cars were not what they were suppose to be. I went 6hrs to pick up a Porsche 911(for myself), it was all repainted...etc I asked them if it had ever been painted...they said no. I drove 6 hrs home without my Porsche..lol. So I baught a 2001 Cobra and fell in love :) Sold it though...
I went to buy a 03 Cobra(from Ebay) from a dealer...drove 5.5hrs. I pay for the car and as I drive away the car's rear end was blown! Turned around and got my money back. Two days later I worked out a deal with the 03 Cobra I mentioned above.
My advice...Ebay can be cool but watch out for the dealers.
Be safe
Steve

...but I have a friend who has purchased two in the past 24 months (don't ask) right @23k through CarMax - & they were only 18-20k mile cars, too.
I think Rick & Linn sold their prepped '03 with Whipple and extras (drag legal) & less than 6k miles on the odo for around 28-31k.
I know Turbo kits are more $ up front, but $15k extra? Someone loves their car too much to sell. Can't fault you blk04cobra1, I feel the same & mine's a daily driver.

I agree, but you cant even buy a 500rwhp car for under $65k, so I figure one with 800+rwhp that is reliable should bring a good bit...not to mention there's probably $20k in extra's...I know you dont normally get all of what you paid for in the extra's dept, but you gotta start somewhere...im sure I'd take $40k for it :D

TypeR I have been watching ebay like a hawk and have not seen this one go through. I did see a 1700 mile car that sold for $27,600? Which one did you buy? Just curious. $25,800 is a heck of a buy. I paid that for mine with 2900 miles on it.
