I got the Plug covers from UPR Products.com, They have some kewwl stuff for the DOHC's. I had a buddy of mine make the letters for me at his grahix shop and I put them on. I think they were about 30 40 bucks + shipping which was like a couple bucks. It was under the "Engine Dress up" category in V8 Mustangs.:thumbsup: Let me know whatcha think.:headbang: :D

I noticed you have a breather filter on one valve cover and an air/oil separator on the other. That may cause unmetered air flow into the PCV system (path through the timming chain cover) would that not create problems at low RPM. Note that the air/oil separator does restrict the vacuum to a great degree which is probably eliminating any surging when at idle. There are oil catch cans that will use a common breather element that can be connected to both valve covers all you need to do is cap off the PCV line. Where to mount such a component is the hard part since they are about the size of a 1 liter bottle.

you don't even need a PCV system......You can stick filters in both holes and block off the PCV hole and be fine:thumbsup: Either way as long as you have a good tuner and know's how to tune.... And I'v got the BEST there is........:D

the blower has to be disassembled to polish and you should know what you're doing........which i didn't so i sent it to steigmeiers and had them do it, they charged me $600 plus they also ported the blower while they were at it.

Here is a pic of the new 331 w/ s-trim built by Paul's Automotive Engineering, Cincy. It made 480ftlb rwtq @ 4500 rpm and 485rwhp @ 5800 and climbing. Best time is spinning 12.59 @ 121mph on Nittos. Eric

The 331 sees 12lb from the stock s-trim pulley, power pipe, ported intake. AFR 185 heads. It is maxed out for a stock block with race girdle, at least for me. Nearing the edge of the 42lb injectors, also. Fast enuf.

Considering best I have done was a 12.597 @ 110mph he must have some long 60ft time...... Most cars I have seen pushing over 120 were in the 11's. I was told mine takes off slow but then whammo just takes off (must be right after I hook up and hit 2nd).

It's not rocket science (or I would be in N. Korea). Bad 60' times on Nitto drag radials and a slick IRP track (no treatment). Probably going to dedicated 10" prostars with 315 MT ET street radials. I'll let you know when it runs an 11 second e.t. Or, maybe I'll talk the track into letting me run just before the U.S. Nationals!:rolleyes:

I don't know if you can still get it, since Kenny Brown has changed ownership. I had it sandblasted and painted rio red. The radiator cover is UPR. Thanx! It is a low mile car, that helps (56,000 now).
