rear tyre sizes

need help regarding rear tyre sizes, I just purchased new 18" wheels for the 03 cobra and I've hear a million different opinions regarding tyre sizes.

I'm comfortable with the front suggested sizes being 275/35/18 for a 18x9 wheel

rears are suggested a 295/35/18 for an 18x10.5, has anyone got picks or suggestions as I would like to place a Nitto drag tyre which come in a 315/35/18 for the rear.

Any help would be appreciated

no clearance with the 10" rim...we had to do the half shave from IRS bolt on the 11" rims ;) .

Sorry to but in; however, just had to say that those tires look awesome. I cant wait to get mine on. I'm going 17x10.5 with the 315/35's Nittos. :thumbsup: Wish the damn snow would melt so I could get the car out.

thanks...i wouldnt go any bigger than 18's on these cars, especially with the drop I have now. I need to roll the fenders a bit b/c at full speed it'll rub just slightly if i hit a good dip in the road. if you're looking at drag radials, i'd strongly consider the BFG's over the Nitto's :cool:

I have the stock rims with P315/35/R17 BF Goodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial

I use villagephotos.com to host my pics. You have to upload them to their site, then when posting here, click the "pic" icon next the # and envelope in the reply box. then insert the URL and voila :D
