Hear we go buckeyes. Fresh off a pep talk from the master, I am going to announce the firsh buckeye even of the year. We are going to meet and get out cars tuned and start the year off with a bang. We are looking at the last two weekends of march, to hold a dyno day. I talked with Brian at www.dynotunemotorsports.com (http://www.dynotunemotorsports.com) and we offered us $65 for 3 pulls. He also has the ability to do A/F tuning, and such. Let's all join in and set a date, and start the year off right!

Hey all in the Buckeye State! Enjoyed the conference call with Tony and our new State Director Mike and the rest of the Buckeye members! Right now, either March 18th or the 25th weekends work for me - Sat or Sun. Just hope the SNOW up here is melted enough to get the Cobra out of the garage.
Also for the MCA car show members out there. The Lake Erie Mustang Owners Club is having the Flagship National Mustang Show the weekend of Aug. 10 at the Mill Creek Mall in Erie, PA. I would love to see a lot of members from SCMC there! If you have questions, send me a message or go to www.lemoc.com (http://www.lemoc.com) and click on the show banner.
Thanks and see you in Columbus!

First of all, congrats on becoming our regional rep mike! That's awesome...we've been needin one for some time now, and even I was thinkin about fittin the spot. Yur definetely the man for the job!
As for our dyno weekend, if at all possiable, i'd like the weekend of 25th sometime. I'm plannin on also goin with the rest of our caravan (whoever that may be) down to 411 in Tennessee on April 9th. Since I HAVE to work every other weekend, I'm trying my best to play the odds on planning these events on weekends I'm off, so if I sound biased to every other, it should be obvious why  . Nothing personal to anyone elses dates they'd opt for.
As for the car show, i'm kinda excited to see when/how that develops. I'll be ready to eat up that info whenever it becomes available :D

Ditto regarding last night's conference call. Was great to finally get together with you guys (albeit it thru the copper cable). It'll be fun to actually get together with the cobra's in person and Dyno Day looks like a great opportunity for that (unless any Columbus guys want to hit Roosters or Wild Wings, etc for a Saturday lunch or something) :D
Whatever date you guys choose for Dyno day will work for me, I'll just make sure to make arrangements ahead of time.
Take it easy!

Well, I call Brian today to order my Xcal 2 for my tune. And I asked about the days. The three days he has open in march are 18th 19th or the 26th. Keep me posted guys. I have all three open, so I will let you be the deciding factor. Just have to let him know by the end of the week. Hope to hear more of you all pipe in.

Hey mike. I'm gonna obviously shoot for the 26th, although that shoulda been obvious from the above post. If you get a number of other people that wanna try the 18th or 19th, that's cool too...i just won't prolly be able to make it. Also...what time of day are we lookin at here? Just curious. Early afternoon sounds like it would be optimal for those of us who have to drive to C-town

The time of day is rather up in the air, depending on the number of people who are interested. I talked with Brian again today, with various questions about the work that I have having done the my car. And me personally am going to take upwards of 2 hours. So I might get there a little earlier in the day, to get him going on my car, and then the people who are just getting their cars dynoed, not tuned won't have to wait as long in the afternoon. And of course, that way I can go try my car out, and come back if we need more adjusting:D . but to answer your question, it will depend on the number of cars.

Well, since Mike and Andrew both said that they would be up for the Sunday the 26, and a few other guys said that it didn't matter, I will call Brain tomorrow, and make the date official. Sunday the 26th. Sweet, can't wait to see ya'll

Sounds good mike! What did you say it was gonna run? I think it was 3 runs for $65?
Is there a certain number of people we have to get to pull this together? Keep us all informed. I have a feeling that we will be able to get more people...for some reason, not many seem to currently check the midwest board. I know their out there...we can find um!
Bring um in!

The 26th sounds like a good date for most. Same format as the carting would work for me. Meet at a place to eat around noon and then go to the shop. I have a 3.5 to 4 hour ride home so it would be nice to be done by 5 or so for the most part. Also looking to cruise down to Columbus from the NE corner so if anyone is interested in that, please let me know.
Now need to let all Midwest members know so we get a good turnout. It would also be nice if I didn't have to shovel SNOW to get my Cobra out of the garage!
Hope to see at least a dozen Cobras on the 26th!!

On the 26th, all we are doing is dyno pulls. Like i have said in a few of my posts, Brian comes highly recommended, so if you want to show up for the dyno day, and get a baseline, then set up a date for a tune later, that would be sweet. Either way, would love for you to come up, and hang with us for the day. Hope to hear from you, Mike
