I know it sounds funny but I was wondering if anyone knows if any company makes some sort of custom cobra head emblem or something. You know so I can put it over my old boring shift knob. anyone??

www.mgwltd.com (http://www.mgwltd.com)

The items they make are the best.

Listen I have from the begining used a Hurst "T" handle, out of every thing Iv tried the Hurst "T" is best because its the natural shape the the right hand wants to be in when shifting, not grabbing a ball (OEM) not a pistol grip either, mine is twisted at about a 45 degree angle to the right as the strait position is not natural, but im also using an adjustible shifter lever that is turned slightly towards me in the seat, its a real great setup

if you send me an email address ill send you a photo of how its setup

I have the MGW knob and love the look but I will say that when banging gears it hurts the palm of your hand...

I too used a Hurst shifter for most of my life. I then tried the MGW and found that the shifter is TOP of the Line!! The ball does hurt the palm of your hand when slammin gears, i.e. speed shifting, but you can put your stock knob on for racing and then use the ball for normal driving and shows! You won't find a higher qaulity made shifter anywhere!

Call these guys at GG&G 520-748-7167. They make replacement caps that go over the original 1-6 gear. In 6th gear place, you can have them put any saying you would like. You may have seen the ones that say "****in Fast", I have this one. It keeps the stock look but when people see it the reaction is priceless.
