SCMC NY-NJ-PA spring kick-off regional meet May 21, 2006 in northern NJ

The SCMC will be having a spring kick-off meet on Sunday, May 21, 2006

Basically, it will be a repeat of the last one we did in 2004, where we all meet up at a local shopping mall on a sunday to show and talk cars....at the end of the meet, those that want to cruise to a local pizza place can do so together....

the meet will be from 10am until 2pm....

we will meet in the northeast corner of the parking lot by Nordstroms so we are visible from both highways....

I am definately up for that one since it is only a 2 hour drive or less. :thumbsup: Count me in on that.


Still debating on the 13 hour trip to SC though on the 25th. Perhaps we can get some time at Island Dragway in Great Meadows NJ someday as a club meet, or there is Englishtown Raceway park or Maple grove raceway near Reading PA. Just a thought......

sounds great! yeah, I'd like to check into an event at a local strip also....I may be able to work something out with another club that has an event booked there....

Is there a rain date? :( I don't mind comming up there in the rain just to meet. Looks like there may be a break between 10am and noon with a 30% chance of rain (at least in my area, not sure what to expect in NJ).

it rained alot, and although its clearing now, I feel its best to postpone it....it rained ALOT and there is alot of standing water on the roads, plus they are calling for t-storms later in the day....watch for a new date!

Thanks for the road trip had a blast :thumbsup: It was great meeting some of you. Too bad I got there so late,,,,, The trip over to the pizza place was probably the most fun I had in years, :banana: :typer:ROAD :firedevil RALLEY :eek: ! :D :cool: All that thunder and a lightning to boot :thumbsup:. Oh yeah the Pizza was good too. :thumbsup: thanks for showing me the way to 287. That really cut down the time back considerably. Sort of missed my exit and wound up somewhere else 40 miles out of my way. :rolleyes: Any how now I know how far I can get on a tank of gas when cruising at 80mph on the highway. Round trip of 280 miles. I am sure the Cobra could go farther (getting lost did not help much ) but I find it hard to go the posted 65 especially when I am getting passed at 80.

Can't wait until the next trip:bounce:
