I wonder if all of Hebe's secret improvements will allow him to get around Stan on the track? ;)

Take it as a complement. :) If your car had more HP we all would be in trouble  I just wish I was going to be there. I wonder if they would let me run for 1 day on Saturday? I would consider that.

I do take it as a complement and at MSRH I may have the advantage. :p
That would be great if they would let you run just one day.

Don't forget you can't pass in the green run group ;)
Don't forget you can't pass in the green run group ;) you can pass in any group as long as you have a point by and in the passing area.
The current Mustang/Fords are:
Green Mizler, David 2003 Ford Cobra
Green Frank, Larry 2006 Ford GT
Green Huey, Stan 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra
Green Cram, Joseph 2006 Ford Mustang GT
Green Hebel, Henry 2003 Mustang Cobra
Blue Solo Bissell, Randy 2004 Ford SVT Cobra
Right now around half of the green group are Mustangs in the Prosche Club event, we'll see what we can do to move the Mustang crowd to the Blue group  To move up, it is more about driving a consistent line and situational awareness than having a fast car. Otherwise, Miatas would always be damned to the green group. Know the flag and see them when they are out! And watch your mirrors, it makes a differance.
Just a head up there has been a subtle change in PCA instructor philosophy; it is now more about driving the line that is right for the car and the current conditions versus using land marks and "the line". IMHO, this is a good change.

All these guys are WELL-KNOWLEDGEABLE track guys....but watch out for that Cram guy..he's as green as you get!!!! ;)
Change is always good, and I agree that it's best to use the line that's right for the car. Everyone's goal at a track event is to learn something new, have a TON of fun, gain some new friends and ABOVE ALL.....be able to come back and do it all again.

One of my favorite instructor quotes from my first school was...
"OK... That's enough brake"
At the last MSRH, mine was "TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF THE BRAKE, TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF THE BRAKE..."
Of course, at the time my foot WASN'T on the brake pedal. I had gone in to turn one a little too fast, turned in a little off, and was more sliding through the turn than driving. At least it stayed on the track.

awesome Carl....I'll bring the mount for ya.
Just a heads up, evidentially, last week, the Brazos County Health Department came out and shut any food operations down at MSRHouston until the Track has a "health" permit. Until the Track resolves this issue, they can not provide food service. They are trying to arrange something.
Therefore, be warned. If they cannot get it together by this weekend, your options will be (1) diet, (2) drive to Angleton, around 6 miles with gobs of junk food places, or (3) bring your own.
Also, bring lots of water, it looks like it will be warm this weekend.
Each run group will get their normal 4 sessions per day and the order will be:
Red
White
Blue
Yellow
Green
There will be class room time for groups Green thru Yellow.
Be safe and have fun :) :bounce:
Good news, Arturo's Bar-B-Q & Catering will be at the track and ready to serve by 11:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. They will be serving brisket, chopped beef, etc. with chips or perhaps potato salad and drinks. I personally do not know anything about this outfit but it is better than nothing.
Please make sure all of the extra “lose stuff” is out of your cars (IE floor mats, cell phone, lose change...), bring a tire pressure gauge and know what your target PSI is, torque wrench (you can always barrow mine) and lots of water.
