OK The artist is finally ready to start on the flames tonight. Car has been completely sanded down! and Re-primed and painted! Also already has two coates of clear, and then sanded off the glossy bits. After the art work is done, we plan on about four more coates of Clear! I think this time it will be perfect!

Are you going with the same flame job?No, The flames will go all the way back to the rear quarter panel this time, and yes, I shaved the door handles. No not the same flames this time, a little less this time. Only one snake this time on the hood, buit it promisses to be better than the last time!:doubt:

Damn Chuck!!!! Everything looks 100 times better than the last shop....I can't wait to see it when it's all done!!!

I'm gonna have to get a card from you next time I see you for when I want to repaint Casper and get some ghost flames of my own. :thumbsup:

I agree with the others, that looks 110% better than before. Looks like they are doing a better job. Hope it all works out for you.

So I guess that will never touch my car! I hope to get the car back Friday, and then it goes into storage, on my way to new York!

I wonder why he said that B/C that is pretty much standard on all exotics...If it good for them its good for me...

1. The paint is too fresh(if you do decide to cover it wait at least 3 or 4 months)
2. The painter is assuming the car is a show car... and you do not do that to show paint jobs!!!(it will cost points in competition)
3. It does diminish the impact of an obviously SPECTACULAR AND TRUELY STUNNING paint job!!!
4. There is some variation in quality available in the paint protection market... some look great some don't.

TOTAL FREAKING HOME RUN!!!

I'm not big on the custom scene... but I have to tell you those are some of the most tastefully done, beautiful, life like, and yet somewhat subtle GHOST FLAMES I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! :hail: :hail: :hail: :hail:

man that thing looks very nice. now you need those 18" chrome wheels to go on there. :D :thumbsup:
