I just had a stage 4 installed not 3 weeks ago, and just had it tuned monday before last, please look at my mod list for my mods as its a very long list,
with LT headers, a 2,76 pulley on the stage 4, Accufab single blade, Mac cold air sys, I got 511.9 RWHP and 467.7 RWTQ , Stiegemeier says you can just bolt it on without a tune and it works fine,,,
Well it does, they are a very good company to deal with, good reputation also,,,,,,,but I did not get these HP&TQ numbers until I got tuned, and it needed the tune, ,,before the stage 4 I had a little more TQ than HP, in fact i had 485 Lbs torque and I lost torque but gained a lot more HP what happens the torque gets it moving quick the HP takes over so much that my IRS does that
"Not Knowing which wheel to keep sending power to" kind of side to side thing, like the tires at high speed start wanting to break loose.

well I'm getting a 4LB lower ordered tomorrow:thumbsup: Plus 511 hp just won't cut it... right now I'm at 485/503.. they say 50+ rwhp so atleast 535 rwhp....

What do you have before the stage 4 to get those numbers you just put up last??

Ok, im just surprized you got 503 RWTQ, thats a lot, after you put on the Stage 4 will you loose about 12 lbs torque, but the HP you gain is going to make it feel much stronger, but your doing the right thing for sure by putting on a lower, as that gets back the torque lost in the port, now are you having to have higher capacity fuel pumps installed in order to use the lower???
the guy that tuned mind will not put a lower on after an 03-04 has hit the 500 RWHP mark without installing the better pumps too,

After you get around the 500+rwhp mark you will need either a KB BAP or larger pumps, you will also need a SCT meter. I recommend the 4lb lower and larger fuel pumps:thumbsup:

yes I'm going to use the 60LB injectors with the stock pumps for now and if I need new pumps I will buy them.... Forget about the pumps I want to know about pulley combo's with what CAI and exhaust for well over 500+ rwhp.

who'd you order the injectors from and did they come with the harness. Are you doing the core exchange on the steggy or you planning to keep the stocker.

Wow, the guy in Tampa that did my last tune said NO ,, NO WAY using my OEM pumps for absolutly anymore than what I have now, 500 HP is the limit and its not safe period to go anymore that 500 without upgrading,
So please let us know how your tune turns out using OEM pumps with a lower set up like your going to have,

Iv made arrangments to have a 2 Lbs lower installed this coming week to work with my 2,76 upper, since the mechanic requiars pumps, the total job tuned out the door tax and all is $1150
I was hoping some one who already has a lower setup with a stage 4 could tell me if it will be worth it as I have 511.9 RWHP and 467 Lbs RWTQ as im looking to regain a whole lot of torque as well as a boost in HP

dave what I do know is the bigger lower you put in, and i think you said a 2lb lower, thats where youll see more tourque. If you still have the stock lower I think thats why your tourque is low. For instance I only have flowmaster (soon to be magnaflow catback) CAI, and sct tune with my 6lb lower and now I have 465 rwhp and 513!!! rwtq I gained 107 pounds of tourque by going to the 6 and I was told if I went to a 4 it would have been much lower.

so, you're getting a 2lbs lower, plus pumps, tune installed for $1150? you'll definitely see an increase in both power and torque...my guess is 525rwhp/500tq

Just to be clean on the deal, for $1150 its
1. lower 2 Lbs pulley
2. Altenator pulley
3. Belt
4. Mafia mass extender
5. Fuel pumps
6. dyno tune
7. labor
on the surface $1150 sounds kind of high, but I dont think it is, Sam has a great rep

David
if you do the wire upgrade for the pumps you should see an extra 10% of range out of you pumps from there you can increase the lines and pull to around 650-670 rwhp with out pressure drop its the volume more than the pressure drop as for bap's there a bandage ticking time bomb nothing more than an electric fmu

what wire upgrade? and is it a Proven method?
The wire upgrade Dan is referring to is to take a 10gauge wire from the "battery" to the FPDM and then tap into the pink/brown wire with a quick connect from the FPDM to the pink/brown wire on top of the fuel tank. Like said above this will lower your pump duty cycle to around 10-13%.
If you wanted to can upgrade the fuel lines...... 2 -6 lines coming from the tank hat to the fuel filter and then one -8 line from the filter to the stock rails. You won't need the BAP unless you just absolutely wanted it and be good for around 700rwhp without the BAP.
