I haven't had my 03 for long but it sure has been fun. My girlfriend and I were driving across town and this new s2000 pulls up beside us. He tries to get my attention by using his exhaust notes. I see that it's a young kid and his car still had the temp tag on it. I was not in the mood to play but what could I do. We started out slow and I let him get out in front and then BANG I hit it and reeled him in without the TERMINATOR breaking a sweat. We did this a few more times until he finally gave up and stayed way back. This was my first kill in my new cobra but not my last.

congrads, On the kill  I remenber my first kill was with a z28 and I killed him. Now it is hard to find someone to race me now....:rotf: every now and then I will have some one come up from behind and rev there car. Sometimes they stop after they here mine and some times they want more. Untill they get up next to me and see the Kenne Bell stickers on my side window and they back off. Some times it is good when you are not in the mood, but on the other hand it can be annoying when you want to race.

Nice kill, surprised the honda driver backed off considering they were stupid enough challenge a Terminator and think they could win. The only way a high reving 4 cylinder will beat a supercharged V8 is if it was mounted on a motor cycle. The Honda s2000 sufferes the same fate as the Mazda Rx8 (all show and no go).

Great kill I agree with Ausie why do they even try. I think they have big hopes and dreams but only get them crushed or they really wish they could have a terminator and love to see them strut their stuff.

Considering that the terminators are now the benchmark for muscle cars on the American highways ( well, not considering the Ford GT, Viper or Corvette which basically fall in their own category, alright the Corvette has its roots in the musclecar arena but grew out of that scene into whatever it is now). I am sure most of us know the origin of the Musclecar and some of us may not. Before I get into some long winded BS I will just jump to the point:bounce: .
My guess is that most people out there that have the so called imports of whatever make or model it may be if deemed to have the "sport" something in its marketing plan "like the Zoom, Zoom" of mazda or when you touch the car you fall into an acid trip like dream that the car is really fast (nessan). If one car becomes the talk of all the forums guess which one that would be. 03/04 SVT Mustang Cobra. If you owned one of those cheap imitations of the real thing, would you not want to find out where it stacks up? More than likely. If you own a Cobra and do not wish to participate the will continue to swarm around you until you do. When the loose they may want a second chance simply because they were not ready to punch it even though they were the one's that callenged you. Even though they face a no win situation, in their mind they think they can win. Most youg drivers do not understand their own limitations and let their ego take over which is usually one of the biggest mistakes on the street. It is not confidence or perseverance but stupidity. I should know since I was there some 20 odd years ago.
