Hey everyone...just thought that maybe we could pool some ideas here to get another event and/or gathering together sometime in the near future.

I'm not sure as to where we stand with the car show idea, but I really wanna try to at least make some wakes here. I'd like to get more active and pull the rather LARGE number of buckeyes together mor often then once every 6 months! Even if it means caravaning to other events, i'd like to hear what everyone else is thinkin this spring/summer!

With speeds gone, we may have to try and find another thing to do for fun...but i'd be up for meeting in C-bus for another meal (not a WORD about the dyno cookout  ) and to do whatever!

If anyone has any ideas at all, lets drop um here, and start up a good thread!

I think there is a Malibu Kart track across the street from the Anheuser Busch brewery. At least they have a parking lot to meet at if they went under too? Or we could do a cruise. What did you have in mind?

The Buckeye Show...well... I'm trying to work on it.

Please put the 2006 SVT Cobra Nationals on your agenda even if you don't run track, you can come out and get rides and show your car.

As scary as the thought is of another me...i must have an evil twin! I would have NEVER imagined that another person would go with such a distinctly different name as Stavesacre21...

You'll have to send me some links to some of these posts. That seems too funny. :rotf:

I have e-mailed Krieger but never got a reply. Are there any in particular you recommend one over the other?

In the Columbus area there's Ricart Ford bought the F-150 there in 91.
Also Germain Ford, Graham Ford, Dick Masheter Ford, & Jim Keim Ford.

why don't you guys pick a nice place to eat at once a month or more, have a informal cruise in. You could rotate locations, so that everybody does a little driving.

One option for July might be the Ford Family Fun Weekend at Norwalk, OH - we could meet somewhere and drive in together, watch some races, enter our cars in the show and then finish the night off with dinner somewhere close. July 7th, 8th and 9th. Shows on 8th and 9th. I have been told it is a great event and the Norwalk track people are excellent.

That's a good idea John! I have another one that I'll e-mail all of you about so we can see what others think that don't come to the boards.

Once again, sorry for taking so long to reply. I think the norwalk idea sounds great. I also really like the idea of simply meeting up once a month if possible, and going out to dinner. We could rotate, cleveland one month, cinci, c-bus, anywhere really. That way over the course of the summer, you might not be able to make all of them, but at least once or twice it would not be that long of a drive. Hope to hear form you all soon. Mike

We could meet up at the Grand Am Cup race at Mid Ohio in June as an option also.
