I got some tires called Riken Rapters distributed thru Michelin but made over sea's.. The treadwear is 300... the biggest they come is 275/40/17... they have got me a best of 1.9 60 foot at the track... here at my local tire shop they were $117 ea.. I'v got all 4 on my car and they handle good too...I burn them off so fast why spend a fortune for goodyears when the go up in smoke just as good:D

Take a look at my old thread about the Kumho's. I never heard of them before but after a couple of hundred miles, so far so good. :) http://www.svtcobraclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11642

The Kumho' s look like a good tire. I settled for Firestone Wide Ovals this time around and am pleased with them to the point I would buy them again. They handle great, good in the rain ,better than the Toyo T1-s when pulling out but once you are moving the Toyo's provide more confidence in heavy rain. However the dry handling is far better than any other tire I have had so far (considering overall from slow to high speed). The Firestones cost a little bit more than the Kumho's but are a good alternative to the more expensive tires offered by Michilin, BFG, Goodyear, Dunlap, Perelli or Bridgestone. So far I am impressed with the Wide ovals.
