Well lets see: What tire's do you have?, stock rear half shaft's?... I know with 485 rwhp and 515 rwtq on street tire's I could only baby it out of the hole then hit it. I only could get 1.9 60 foot 11.89 at 125.. now with 522/551 and M/T drags hope for 1.6 60 ft and low 11's :D

When I was racing our 03 Cobra@ NMRA I was getting 1.7 60 ft with 315 BFGs,IRS and 6 spd by riding the clutch out longer than usual..these cars are hard to launch and get moving because they are heavy. and the blower gives you low end torque very quickly in the lower rpm band....ours was close to 4000lbs with the roll bar, fuel and driver..

you cant race with less than 1/4 tank or it will not perform well..

Get some sticky tires (BFG's or the MT ET Radial) and run about 18psi in them, heat them up for a good bit and then let it rip :D

Not sure about the IRS thing though, too much wheel hop for me! Built solid is the way to go IMO.

Getting out of the hole is the trick. Even though mine is still stock and I am using street tires, the best launch I had was with nearly a full tank of gas and did not throttle in any RPM above 2000. RT was 0.301 with a 60ft 1.874 which resulted in an ET of 12.597 at 110.16MPH (no mods yet except for a cat-back). Not sure what the weigh in would be, just add 235lb of driver to an 04 without any weight reduction. That was probably the only time I did not sit and spin at the tree. I could only imagine what 465hp would do. Had 22psi in the rear tires (toyo T1-R 285/35-18, not the best for the strip). Must have found a sweet spot on the pad since they were positioning the cars with street tires deep on the outside way out of the groove.
