I have recently purchased a 1999 mustang cobra(it doesnt have head problems). I am trying to get some cheap horsepower. I have already put on a BBK cold air intake and magna flow exhaust system. I have alreay ordered some under drive pulley for it which I will have on this weekend. I am thinking about putting a 65mm twin throttle body, what are you thoughts about this. If there is any other things that I could do to gain easy horse power please tell.

I don't think you'll see much if any gains from the throttle body. Spend you money on a SCT chip and tune. You'll get more bang for your buck than you will with the T.B.

I have the twin 65 mm BBK. But I"m going with Big Daddy on this. I'm looking for chip and tune for the next investment.

Don't need a chip on a 99 till you do power adders like a blower. A good tuner can work with the stock ECM on the 99. Don't waste the $$. Find a good tuner..

Get some gears. It'll feel a lot stronger. 4.10's minimum.

+1 on the gears.
I have 4:30's, if I had to do it again - 3.73's unless you aren't doing a lot of highway, then 4:10's or 4:30's.

I just installed 3:73 in my 01 and it's a marked improvement in all gears.:) However, finding a shop to calibrate the speedo has been a project. Ford dealers won't do it. Any suggestions?

Abbott, Dallas Mustang both have speedo calibration adapter boxes.
