View Full Version : All Rord Car Show & Swap Meet - Livonia, MI

If anyone in the group is looking for something to do on August 13th, there is a major show in Livonia, MI. It is sponsored by the Mustang Club of Southeastern Michigan and is from 8 AM to 4 PM. Typically, I hear they get 4-500 Total cars. I have details and we can talk if anyone is interested as I may take a run up there to check it out.

We could meet up in Toledo and then drive up to Livonia. About an hour from Toledo. Show starts at 8:00 AM - awards at 4:00 PM sharp and I hear they are very quick and efficient. They also have a swap meet and some vendors. The event is at Greenmead Historical Park - 20501 N. Newburgh Road - Livonia, MI. The give dash plaques to the first 400 cars so I assume it is a pretty big show. $20 registration - I would only go if weather is good. Let me know and we can plan it out. Are you still going to show in Columbus this Sunday?

Yes...Columbus will be happening for me Sunday. Weather looks great.

Unfortunately, I must take a weekend off from Cobra activities. Had a great couple weekends w/ all at the Summit show and the Kreiger show. Let me know how great this show was and I especially want to hear about Woodward as I also cannot attend that event.


I will be at 411 at the end of the month....a driving event! Cannot wait! See you all then.

No problem, I think my son and I are going to run up as the weather looks good. Besides he has a "friend" who is interning at Eaton and she is going to meet us and look over the show. Got my heat exchanger repaired. Relay switch was fried.

John T-Not sure I will make the trip if the weather looks questionable. It appears that t-storms are the forecast. I'll make a final decision later today.

I just got back into town from Chicago and the bad weather is coming. I think I am going to cancel the room at Holiday Inn and if weather improves just drive up to Mustang Alley tomorrow morning.
