Do we have any updated plans for this event. I want to make sure I know what time we should be in Columbus for this event. If I remember correctly it starts at 10:00 AM?
Thanks

I am driving down Sunday morning for this show. Can we all meet somewhere and drive in together? How about some sustanance afterwards before the drive home in a local establishment?
Nevertheless, another opportunity to promote SCMC and the Cobra Nationals in September.
Post up your thoughts all!

Well, I got on today to post some info about this weekend, and it looks like you guys have already beat me to the punch. I looked it up, registration does start at 10am. I figure if we get there sometime in the morning we will be fine. There really are no trees or anything to worry about shade. I live about 30 seconds from the dealership, so if we want to meet at my house, that would be really easy, and if everybody wants, there are tons of places to eat really close, or we could grill out at my place. Just throwing that out there.
Directions to my place. if you guys would, tell me which way you are going to be coming into town. I will try and keep you away from construction, as they is quite a bit around that dealership. I probably will also send out an e-mail, trying to round up as many people as possible. Hope to hear from you all soon. Mike

If you are coming from the North71 South to 270 E
270 East toward the airport
Get off at Morse rd and turn RIGHT
1st light is Steltzer, turn right(between BP and Shell station)
follow till it dead ends into Sunbury
Right on Sunbury
3rd road on Right is Bahamma's, turn right
Bahamma is like 10 feet long, and dead ends into Bimini Rd Turn Right on Bimini ( you will be looking at the back of my house)
Next street on your right is Bimini Ct, Turn right, and you will be in Cobra Heaven.

Great time today, enjoyed being with everyone. Hope that someone brought home a trophy! I know it will not be "Luggage Boy"! Sorry I left a little early - I have my Mom in Rehab for her broken arm and needed to get back and eat dinner with her.

I also had a great time seeing you all again, seeing all the cars, and baking on the blacktop!
I apologize for leaving early also but football coaching responsibilities take prioroity these days. As I was nearing home Mike Monjot dialed me up and let me know I won a door prize and a show award ( what level I am not sure but hey, I appreciate the acknowledgement ) for my car. Pretty cool I guess... Thanks for picking it up for me Mike!
See you all in 3 weeks for the trip to 411. Looking forward to driving my car and not worrying about the level of shine it has on it....

Well it was a great day, perfect weather, and quite a bit of hardware was brought home. As stated before, Mike R brought home an Award of Excellence, for his stellar 97 vert. Furthermore, both Monjot Snakes also brought home excellence awards for the 99-04 vert category. I think 3 or 4 of us brought home door prizes as well. Another weekend down, and one more weekend closer to both the 411 and gingerman!

Enjoyed it yesterday albeit I'm suffering today from a little sun exposure. Congrats to the Mikes and Mark on the awards and to John and I.. well, maybe next time :). I know I learned a few things yesterday - i.e. better clean that engine :baby:
Anyway, enjoyed the company and catch you guys soon!

Hey...congratulations Monjot men. Did not realize that you also got an award. Should make you feel pretty good.
By the way...what exactly is an award of excellence?
See you in 3 weeks in Knoxville! Now if "Luggage Boy" can make a decision we could have a larger Ohio group.

I received my letter of warning from the Mustang Club of Ohio about my attempts to hide a duffle bag in my car. I have signed a letter of apology for my behavior and have sent it to the club president!
Had an interesting drive coming back - relay switch on my heat exchanger started to short out on the way back and then frooze in the on postion when I got home - had to unhook battery and will replace the relay switch tonight while on the phone with the PHP mechanic who agreed to guide me through changing the switch. Should be a test of my limited skills.
Still trying to work out the arrangements for 411 weekend.
Once again thanks to the Monjot family for the snacks, drinks and general good hospitality!

Was the politically correct way of describing the Runner's up award ;)

Tony, sorry we kind of ran without saying good-bye. After they handed out the best of show, dad and I wanted to get to our cars, to be able to get out of there without a huge wait. As soon as we got to our cars, I thought you were following us, I realized that they never called out the 50/50. Totally sorry:(

Nice pics Mike  , but not enough of the MYstichrome!
For those going to the Woodward Dream Cruise Aug 19 while I was at CDC today they said they are going to get to Mustang Alley by 6:30am. Apparently it's first come... Pat at CDC is going to send me the best directions to Mustang Alley from the Holiday Inn Troy.

Mark,
That is correct relative to parking, you are guaranteed a spot if you are registered, but not a location. There is a special area called the "Snake Pit" for Cobra's however that I hear is good, but I have not been to the event.
