Im told getting a shiftable automatic installed is the biggest mod as well as the best that can be done for these cars, Sam said its not a total auto because it still has to be shifted but no more clutch, this would allow shifting without dumping all the boost, and she would keep on boosting

DaveB how did the 4:10 gears effect the top speeds in each gear? My guess is you mostly drag race. I only do road courses and was wondering how the 4:10 gears would work.

I had read an article a while back in Fast Ford or something like that about a guy who put a automatic in his wife '03/'04 Cobra, it is now his car. He did it for drag racing and was very impressed with the results.

One of my friends did that to his. He liked it for drag racing and driving around town wasn't different cause it had a manual valve body so you still get to shift gears. It's the best bang for the buck for the strip.. Better ET's with an auto.

He actually put the 6 spd. back in the car because it's his wifes now, if you are interested in going Auto he's got the complete kit for sale. :thumbsup:

I have a built dynamic C4 sitting on the garage floor as we speak...cannot seem to pull the trigger and install it though...maybe this fall we'll put it in there...
