new pulley for my eaton

i got the 3.1" pulley for my supercharger...... i know how to get my serpentine belt off but i don't know how to take off the old pulley....can someone please help me with this?

You need a pulley puller....I know it sounds like I'm being a smart A$$ but you can probably rent one from a local auto parts store or you can buy one..http://www.billetflow.com/Pulley_Puller.htm

Congrats on the pulley purchase and like King said, you'll need a pulley puller. Any reason why you chose the 3.1 over a 2,.93 or 2.8? The smaller the pulley, the more boost and power you'll see :thumbsup:

Wherever you got the pulley should also sell the puller. You will have to buy one. I don't think most auto parts stores would have one for the cobra. You want to have a good one so as not to damage the snout of your supercharger which could be a big problem. Billetflow has top quality ones but they are expensive. RPM outlet sells them relatively cheap. Different pulleys require different types of pulley pullers. If you have a standard pulley and not a quick change pulley, the one from RPM outlet should work fine. If you have one with a removable ring, you will need one like billetflow sells. Removing the pulley is a 2 person job but is pretty easy to do. I would get the smaller one like a 2.8 or 2.93. You will need a new tune and a new belt along with that. Some don't have to get a new tune with the 3.10 but get your air fuel ratios checked after just to be safe if that's the route you are going to take.

I have thought about doing this for some time. As far as belt length, billetflow has a nice chart on their web site listing options for belt length with ilder pullies in combination to the supercharger pully. That being said.... definately have the air/fuel curve rechecked as the stock curve is a bit lean in the lower RPM range.
