Yes, Srt 4 pulls that much boost or close to it anyways and still would not have enough to beat the Shelby.

Everytime the srt hit the gas it sounded like the Star Ship Enterprises doors opening. You can put 22 psi on a festiva and if the motor will handle it, It can beat a terminator. Take the blowers off both cars and what do you have? The old school kick your ass V8. The 4 bangers dont have nothing. But give them a little giggle juice, a blower, a Hollywood movie 2dumb and 2stupid and they think they have taken over the world.;)

Don't know about how that was done. I was behind one of those SRT-4's on 71 in Columbus the other day. He was in and out of traffic to much for me so I didn't try to over take him or cut between the lanes. However I was impressed with the little things acceleration. He was able to pull away from me a little (like a car lenght), but I left the Cobra in fourth gear and was able to reel him in, in no time. Had I dropped to third well....that would have been different.

I dont think its crap at all. you have a light weight car putting out alot of boost and then you have a heavy ass car. not to mention from a roll on the highway. I give the edge to the SRT4. I have a buddy who has a srt4 and he is running 11's at the track, I still see alot of 03/04 guys in the 12's. Would I like the outcome to be the other way, sure. but the power to weight ratio is in favor of the srt4. :mad:

Yes I agree the power to weight ratio. but watch the front end rise and then fall on both cobras just as if the guys are lifting off the throttle so the neon looks faster

yeah perhaps the neon might be faster. but in the video against the shelby in the first or second race the front end comes down like he hit the brakes. I think it was more staged then a actual race

Also tell me how the blue cobra pulled so hard in the first race about four car lengths and then the neon has enough power to not only catch him but blow him away.

When I find one of those neons we'll see what happens. If it turns out like that video I'll come home and get out old reliable my 89 florida highway patrol car and yes its got about the same power as my terminator but only half the fat at 2600lbs.

I would love for a skittle to hurt my feelings (once the car is running)...it would take a hell of a lot, but anythings possible...there's one around here that's putting out 542fwhp and im sure it'll scoot :thumbsup:
