We're trying to plan a wedding here, so the sooner I know my race dates for next year, the more weekends I can rule out. I'd hate to have to change tires and miss an afternoon run group in order to make it to the church. :D

I think we can probably schedule some of them but I'm not sure if Rick has called to find out available dates. The 411 dates revolve around our open track dates. (CMP, Gingerman, MSR, Talladega, and a possible 5th event.)

Damn, forgot about Talladega. I got the rollbar to run there this year.

I will have dates for 411 early next week. Congrats by the way!!!

As for Talladega they upper their rental fees by 50% and with a low turnout the past two years we decided not to go back in 2007. We will be doing CMP in March as usual and we are adding a date at VIR!! Schedule is posted in a sticky in this forum:D

Sorry, we had Rick occupied down here in Houston this past weekend for the MSR event. I would image he and Jane are still on the road since they drove their tails off all weekend. I'm sure they had to stop and get some sleep from all the "Slow"(comparatively speaking) driving they had to do on the highway. :D

Concerning the 2007 411 events, if you live in the Knoxville TN area and can help the club with some set up, please e-mail me direct at mrmach@cetlink.net.
We'll need someone to pick up the equipment and take it back so you will need to have a hitch on your car or truck. We'll also need some help with the event set up and take down the day of the event.

Thanks!

Us buckeyes have been there to help set up in the morning, and being that all the events are on Sat, we should be there early with no problem. We should also be there for tear-down, now that we will be in no rush to get out of there!

Well, I'll do whatever I can....I can set the course up blindfolded, so if no one jumps on that, then so be it. I have also found a different path(same course)to avoid that huge BUMP transition onto the banked oval the first time. Worked good for the ProTouring?MuscleRides guys.

Here's a moral booster for those wanting to participate:

Thanks guys! What we need is someone to pick up the trailer with the cones and take it back. If we can get that, we'll be set for the March event. :D

Forgive my ignorance(I drive a GT :( ), but is Rick occupied or is just wanting to start having fun like the 'rest of us? :)

I'll "try" to work something out with the trailer pick-up/bring back, but I can't gaurantee anything. I'm a lil' over an hour away, so it'd be really tough for me to make double the trips. :(

Rick will not be able to pick it up on the 23rd or be at the event. There is someone who lives close by that did it before I think?? I just can't remember who it was?

No Kelly - we still need taxi service. Give me a call when you get a chance.
