Now that Shelby/Cobra and the SVT Program are finis, what does Cobra/Shelby GT-500, or whatever Shelby-Cobra meant in the past mean now to you?

I hope that it doesn't come to mean that you as an owner of a Cobra somehow find it difficult to locate replacement parts for your SVT vehicle. :mad: ;)

Not sure what it means...... But I would agree that the SVT parts may become scarce in the Ford inventory. There will still be aftermarket parts available.

There may be some hope if the modular concept is still intact, it may be possible that some of the parts could be used on the pre-05 4.6L engines. Perhaps 5 years down the road it may be an issue. The first vehicle that comes to mind that would suffer the fate of lack of parts would be the Ford GT since it is no longer in production and that it had many parts not shared elsewhere.
