World Ford Challenge X

I was looking over events that we could potentially go to a a group and noticed that the 10th annual World Ford Challenge has been moved from St. Louis to Indianapolis this year - May 17th to 20th - Might be a good event for us to drive to as a group - could meet in Dayton on I-70 and drive west to event stay a night and then drive back. I know of two guys who have attended this event and they said it was the best Ford event they attended last year.

I looked in the upcoming events category and didn't see it listed. What does this event entail? Car show, swap meet, drag races, open track or autocross? Sorry if I missed something obvious. Any of you guys pick up any good deals at the swap meet in Columbus? C'ya.....Mark.

I have not attended myself, but from what I was told by the two guy who went the major items are 3 days of drag racing, a large show, swap meet activities and many more vendors than are typical at a Ford Family Fun Weekend. I am not aware of an autocross event, but the website indicates it will be up in January and perhaps it will provide better details.

I am still planning on going to Indy for this event if possible. I am thinking about driving in early Saturday morning, staying Saturday night and then driving back in afternoon on Sunday. Is anyone else interested? If so I think we should book some rooms - perhaps at the Holiday Inn Express in Brownsburg. Let me know everyone's thoughts!

The Holiday Inn Express in Brownsburg is full. I have booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express - Plainfield (I-70W) Exit #66 for Saturday night - 5/19 - can cancel up to 6 PM that date. May make sense for anyone considering attending to at least book a room.

It's baseball tournament weekend!!!! Gotta travel to Kentucky Both Saturday and Sunday for 4 different games!!! And that my friends is for ONE of three kids, yep they are all playing baseball this year. :eek:

I would say that I am game, but I am going to be up in cleveland with the fam for the weekend. I am planning on attending as many OVR scca's as possible. I know there is a TnT on the 28th, and I think the first event is on the 29th, anyobdy interested?

Event canceled due to snow. I thought it was spring, rescheduled for next sunday the 15 at Kil Kare. :mad:
