I just bought a 97 Cobra and the previous owner had cut out the stock mufflers to make the vehicle straight pipped. It sounds good until you rev it hi and it back fires like crazy. I wanna put new mufflers in but want to know which muffler sounds best

For a mod motor car I would say Magnaflow of Bassani sound the best.

I had Borla on my 97 great sound and on the 03 I had mac which was loud and raspy and now have magnaflow and it sound deep and throaty and doesn't throan though out the car, it is also very mellow on the sound when needed.
