Fun Ford Weekend in Ohio

Planning on attending Saturday for sure and possibly again on Sunday since it is close. Meeting in Wellington would work for me, it is past Norwalk, but worth the drive so we can go to event together.

If you've never been to a Fun Ford Weekend event, you don't know what you're missing and the Ohio event is the best of the bunch.

The venue is the Summit Motorsports Park. This is without a doubt the finest racing facility in the country. Imagine three days of almost non-stop racing with everything from mini vans to 8 second street machines and everything in between.

There is a huge car show, swap meet and an enormous vendor area. And.. Summit Motorsports Park has the BEST food at any track.

We intend to meet up with another Mustang club about 15 miles from the track and thunder through the Ohio countryside.

This is a good chance for the members from Ohio, PA, MI, KY, WV and IN to meet.

We have a meeting place in Wellington for Saturday the 21st.

Real Pro Real Estate has been kind enough to let us use their lot to meet up. http://www.ohiostreetstangs.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif They're located at 44777 St. Rt. 18 in Wellington. It's the Wellington Plaza.

If you're coming from the east, it's just before you get into the town proper and will be on the left side of the road.

Let's figure on meeting up starting at 08:00 and leaving for Norwalk at 08:30.

It's still a nice ride to Norwalk from there...This should be fun!

Went to Columbus on Saturday to look at my son's house for next year and then stopped at the Buckeye Stangs - 1st Car show at Quaker Steak and Lube in Polaris - Small show but fun - several SCMC guys at event. I think two or perhaps three of us got Top Ten Awards.

I do not think I will make the drag event - but planning to be at Wellington on Saturday the 21st at 8:00 A

I cannot make Saturday as my son's baseball team has made a season ending tournament and has 2 games on Saturday. I will miss being there but would consider meeting anyone who is planning on going Sunday.
