This topic has been discussed to the nth degree but I truly believe the solution would be the $60.00 air bags you can put in the springs to stop the hop. Others will tell you a brace...blah, blah, blah....just to sell you a product they cannot prove 100% will cure the issue. As a matter of fact, it doesn't cure the issue. I recommend the air bags and maybe lowering the car an inch or so to get rid of the hop. Cheap and easy!

The urethane IRS bushings WILL REDUCE the amount of wheel hop. Mine practically eliminated it but then again I don't drop the clutch and/or drag race. Just my two cents. Hope it helps.

I've never really experienced wheel hop because I don't drop the clutch. I ease into first and lay the hammer down after I know 3rd will grip!!

Delrin bushings are supposed to really help. I have poly bushings ... replaced everything, added braces, changed springs, etc. It was better, but I still had hop if I got on it hard. I ordered drag bags from Laurel Mountain Mustang for $60.00 + shipping on the referral from another club member. With 5-8 lbs of air it works like a charm for me. Maybe one little skip and then I am off.
