Wheel and Tire Recommendations

I'm new to the club and need to see if I can get some feedback. I've got a '96 Cobra that I'm putting new wheels and tires on. I'm debating between 17 and 18 inch, but think I'm going with 17" Steeda Ultra Lites. Steeda recommends 275/40/17's all the way around. I'm not worried about rotating the tires, so I can go with different ones on front vs the rear. I just don't want the look like the front tires set out wider than the back. Anyone have any thoughts on 18's vs 17's and the tire size being recommended by Steeda? Thanks

the big differences in 17's to 18's is weight and tire cost. Go shop for 18 inch tires, that may determine what size rims you get

Thanks for the reply. My only fear is that sometimes the 18's look a little too much like "wagon wheels" on older Mustangs. It might just be due to the fact that so many have Cobra R's in 17" and that's what I'm used to seeing
