Just got my car running this month.. been sitting in my driveway with no motor in it for over a year.. Figured I'd join the crowd since I can actually drive it now..

The car is a 96 maroon SVT (don't know the actual name of the paint color yet, so don't shoot me for calling it maroon:D ) I built the motor all stock, the only mods I really have planned for it are a reduction in altitude, and lose the 3:27s..

I don't have a lot of Cobra specific experience, but I'm an auto tech by trade, with 25 years of auto trans, driveability, and drivetrain experience.. And I will be happy to contribute to the forum to the best of my ability...

I'll warn you ahead of time, don't expect any Chevy bashing from me.. I've been a Chevy guy all my life... First car was a V8 Vega I built at 15, traded it for a blown up 70 SS396 Chevelle.. Kinda hard to go back after you've owned one of those... That being said, the 32V Modular Ford is by far the coolest thing I've seen roll out of an American auto plant in over thirty years.. And it just proves how lazy GM and Mopar have gotten in the performance arena... I can honestly say I'm proud to own one..

Now if you guys want to bash on some Mopars.....:bounce: :D

I find it kinda strange that my car is a dozen years old, and the other two are still using pushrods.... the Japanese gave up on pushrod motors over 25 years ago... In terms of technology, my 16 year old twin turbo Stealth still puts them to shame.....

Thanks for the welcome..:)

Welcome to the boards, I don't think you will get any bashing over here about Chevy or any other brand. I used to own a Camaro and even have a Chevy Tattoo on my left arm. I get crap all the time from certain members about that tattoo (all friends). I grew up being around Chevy cars and trucks, that was until I bought my Lightning and Cobra.
