Judging by your location in your avatar, there probably aren't a whole lot of Cobras down there, eh? :doubt:

once you do see us driving a Cobra --
you won't see us for long.
You will be trying to catch us...
but you won't be able to.

Well...
I didnt say it to brag..
and, heck, I don't even own my Cobra anymore..
but I still drive one every now and then, and I do know many girls that drive their Cobra's (mustangs, Mach I's, Shelby's, etc) smooth as silk.....!!
Many of us (like me) have also had a very active part in modifying our Cobra's and we have achieved a more than satisfactory end result...
thank you for the complement.
That is very much appreciated.
I have to agree with you on that Bonny

I'm sure you are lost without Trigger. How is everything going these days. I hope to see you and Tim sometime. I was very impressed by both of you. I wish I could have bought trigger.

I know the car is in good hands.
Over the winter he will be storing Trigger inside along with his other Mustang. Trigger has a special cover, and a special place in his heart so I know that I did the right thing.
Everything is going alright here.
Tim and I keep pretty busy with work and family.
We try to get out to California twice a year to visit our daughter and son in law, and twice a year go to Florida and help to take care of my Mom and Dad. They need help....
I do miss all of the friends that we gained being a part of the Cobra club and all... but I will check in now and then.
Keep me posted on any events that are in the midwest and then if we have a free weekend we will come say hello!
take care of yourself and drive safe...
and stay away from "hell"..

Ding Ding Ding, chiming in as well.
My Mystichrome is the 3rd Cobra I have owned. I love 'em. My baby sits in the garage next to my Sportster and Tom's Fat Boy. Garage is only big enough for 2 bikes and a cobra so his F150 has to sit in the driveway. And Bon, if your daughter is still in Santa Barbara I know exactly how long it takes me to drive there, 1 1/2 hours it's 88.5 miles from here to Cottage Hospital. Tom was there for 12 days so I could now drive it with my eyes closed. He has a misshap with his bike back in March. Those were tough times, broke his right leg, left wrist and right arm he broke all very close to the joint so they gave him a new titanium shoulder ball. But not to fear, he is healing very well and the shoulder is coming along. Thank god for leathers and a helmet, so no road rash. It's been a rough winter for me, had to get new shoes on my baby and a clutch, flywheel and throughout bearing. Dang these cars can get expensive and let's not even talk about gas!!!!!
Hope all is well with the family Bon,
Deb

Well, I need to update my Avatar. I now live in Houston in the Energy Corridor. Katy is not far away though.
Katy has, I guestimating here, it's growing at the speed of Minks, lol, about 150K Residents. It is a Suburb West of Houston on the I-10. One Subdivision called Cinco Ranch, that they had been building on for about 18 years, has in the range of 25k houses!
Tell Cynthia about the South Central Region Forums. We go out once a week for a weekly meet and periodically do Track / Show / and Cruises; - in and around the Houston area.

WOW...
I didnt realize that Katy was so big! I figured that it was a small little town..
The thing that I really love about Texas is the wide open spaces and all the horse ranches!!
My horse is now permanently retired on a ranch in Iowa, but I am share boarding a beautiful paint gelding that I ride several times a week.
I will tell Cynthia about your meets...
.. hey, if you ever see a couple with two bright Atlantic blue Cobra's, tell them Bonny said hi!
;-)
take care!

I have had some experience with Animal Rescue
(mostly birds), and I love to watch Animal Cops - Houston...
once there was an episode that included a rescue that took place in Katy...
Watching the program helped me to realize that Houston is what, the 4th largest city in the U.S.?
New York, Los Angelos, Chicago then Houston..
I think..
at any rate, I live not too far away from Chicago...
it is a beautiful City!!! We are very proud of it, and Lake Michigan is definitely a Lake that everyone must see at some point in their life..

I do believe we are getting close to being #3.
Been to the Great Lakes and Chicago. Very nice up there. Vinyards are beautiful and try to see the Falls on the Canadian side; - they will let you on a boat tour as well.

What can we do to our website to draw more lady owners to our site??Maybe do some advertising or thread posting about our events, etc. on affiliated sites like the HPD Group does with their Racing and Cruise events? We can carry Flyers as well and pass out. Normally, I tell them about the Group and write down the site link for them.
I've helped get a few Members Registered, and some ladies, via car shows and AutoRama. :)

Bonny, sorry about the delay in answering. Been very busy playing nurse these past few months, but thankfully, Tom is doing well and is now completely self suffiicient. The shoulder could take quite a bit longer to fully regain function but he is well on his way.
I am SE of Santa Barbara, Tom crashed in Lompoc so that must be close to Solvang since its about an hour north of SB.
That is such a beautiful area along the coast. I actually told Tom the other day that we should go to Solvang as he is swedish and has a chair that needs a new pad, we haven't seen anything around here with the right pattern to recover it. I thought Solvang would be just the place to look.
Take care, Deb
It wasn't bad enough that I had to get a new clutch, flywheel and throwout bearing, just had to replace the hydraulic brake unit too. It decided to leak fluid on the inside soaking my carpet, ewwww stinky.

Never feel as if you need to apologize my friend...
Just so we stay in touch!
Yes, Lompoc is about about 25 minutes north and west from my daughter. We were actually looking at houses there..
I am glad that Tom is doing so much better!
If Tom is Swedish than that is double reason to visit Solvang. You won't be disappointed!
Go out for breakfast in one of the little Dutch restaurants along the main route... check out the Windmills and definitely some of the stone walks.
Our son in law is "Stone Concepts" and he has done many of the walkways and the waterfalls there... we are proud of him.
The shops are a blast, you can spend all day there. Also, make sure you check out the foothills and the many paths to view the breathtaking sights. It is just beautiful there.
Tell Tom that I am swedish also... well, half anyway.
Solvang is really close to my heart...
Drive your Cobra thru there for me ok?
smoke the tires once or twice...
take the mountain pass up there -
don't go the main route.
who needs autocross when you can take the mountain pass from Santa Barbara to Solvang several times a week...
its worth a billion dollars...
The Smoky Mountains are dear to my heart, but I think the mountain pass is a notch higher in fun and beauty...
only trouble is - please be careful! There are some spots where if you lose it, your a goner...
** hugs ***
Bonny
