Evolution Performance 8 second GT500

My performance shop did an 8 second 1/4 with a 2007 GT500 at Cecil County over the weekend. This is a twin turbo setup with an otherwise completely stock GT500 motor. Over 1000rwhp/tq. This may be the first stock motor of any type to break into the 8s. Simply awesome.

Set your viewer to full screen, crank the speakers, and sit back. Gives me goose bumps.

EVO's GT500 is sick. :eek: :D

They do have a 4-speed Auto in the Black car. One more step for them on the stock motor is a few hundred more hp and then go for 7s ! Traction may keep them from it though. On Record, is my understanding, that this is the first GT500 in the 8s ! :bounce:
