 I am looking to get the leather replaced on my steering wheel, and I'm curious if anybody has tried the "wheelskins" kit. A reputable interior shop in my area wants to charge me $180+ to replace just the leather on the wheel. Does anyone have any suggestions???
any and all input would be greatly appreciated!

I'd just say this:
This is an about equal price thing go buy yourself a FR500 wheel heres the link.

It's an great wheel I got it on mine. easy to instal, there are websites to help if you need it. its a little thicker which I personally like more and best yet it looks sporty and stock...give it a try I'd say.

5.0 resto just started re-poping the 94-98 saddle wheels. i think its 250 or so after you return the core, $100. this is the route i'll probably be going soon.

any and all input would be greatly appreciated!the wheelskins doesn't match. I have someone that will re wrap mine for around $65, but I can't find the leather to match. I have searched all over the internet. If you can find some matching leather, preferably in a wheel kit form(where the holes are already there for the stitching), I will hook you up with this guy. We can go in together and get it done.
