Is there a trick to getting the spark plugs out of my 2001 Cobra? I tried just wrenching on them but unless I was doing something wrong they would not budge. I quessed that they just unscrew like any spark plug. I look the cover off, unpluged the wires, and removed the coil and boot. Do I just need to eat more spinich? Thanks.

No, it sounds like your socket is stopping you from making contact with the plug??? Make sure you have the ratchet in the removal position and give it a little elbow grease and they should come right out. No tricks necessary.. :D

Thanks for the feedback. If that is all there is to it, why do the dealers and auto shops want to charge $160 for the job?

Because they know they can get it from people who are intimidated about working on their car. :p

Yeah, turn harder...when reinstalling add anti-seize and don't tighten them quite so much...they ain't going anywhere!
