I just replaced my Borla Stingers with KR mufflers. The Stingers were $525 new - looking for $300.

I also have a pair Borla Touring axle backs. They were part of my original 40th pkg. I replaced them with the Stingers. They go for $600 new - I'll sell those for $300 as well.

Bring them with you to VIR. I really need to listen to different type exhausts because I want my Shelby to sound like a big block Ford from the 60's. If they don't sound like that then what does?

Then you want the KRs with the H-pipe like I'm doing. Though that's a $900 option. $300 Borla Stingers aren't a bad second choice.

I will try to listen to those that come to VIR but here is my opinion on the exhaust notes I heard on the video Phil...

1. FRPP - definitely sounds good and seems to have a BB sound.
2. Too quiet!
3. Too Raspy!
4. Flowmasters - Too quiet!
5. Good sound but I'm not putting long tubes on my snake.
6. Corsa - sounds good especially after the take off from another video

The dyno video with the Corsas sounded good but I don't want to have a drone at cruising highway speeds.

Thanks for the link Phil....if I hit the lottery, I'm going to buy you a used Shelby! :)

I need to listen to yours at VIR John to see if that's what I am looking for. Does your car drone at 70 mph?

My question is why the change from Touring to Stingers and then to KR's?

Thinking about the Bassani SS Street Race Axle-back - 4607SR5. I have the same concerns as Tony, looking for good sound but I don't want to have a drone at cruising highway speeds.
