DC?
I have very little knowledge compared to the rest of this fine group that I have joined in several events over many states regarding the Cobra's, but as you might be in the DC area, let me just say that Sheehy Ford up on Route 355 in Gaithersburg has a used Cobra, 1999 I think, and they are eager to sell it. If memory serves me correctly the car has 24,000 miles and from what I could see, it seems to be in good shape. I have purchased from them in the past and I may in the future.

Hi,
I was the owner of an 04 SVT Cobra bought new in 2004. If your trying to decide between the 03-04 go for the 04. The reason being, low production #'s for that year. Ford only produced 3762 in 2004. The other factor would be if you had a choice of color. 1000 Mystichrome models were produced, 500 cps and 500 verts. Furthermore, if you get one with all the documentation would also be great. Build papers, found under the rear bumper, and certificate from Ford SVT. I was pleased with mine until I saw the 05's. I loved the retro body style.... Traded the 04 Cobra for an 07 GT. Got a great trade-in price for the 04, basically picked the car up for the cost of the GT at that time.
Now that the Shelby GT500's are going for sticker, no dealer mark up, which was $25K in 07, you could pick up an 08-09 under MSRP. Hope this helps......
