Hi all :)
I just bought my first Cobra (and mustang for that matter) I had a 94 Lightning that I sold last week, I owned it since 2002, It had a vortech S-trim and I converted it to a tremec TKO-600. Well its gone, so I bought my friends 97 Cobra, as of now it has 29,271 on the odo, its very very clean. The mods are fr500 black chrome wheels, 4:10 gear, BBK long tube headers, Vortech SQ, Bassoni cat back. I havent ran it at the track yet, but I know the guy I bought it fron ran a 7.99 in the 1/8 and a 12.42 in the 1/4

This is the day the new owner drove it home....I live in central IL, buyer drove from the state of Washington with his wife, in a very rare x-cab Lightning, paid cash... and drove mine back.. 2300 mile trip...from my place to his.. he is a collecter of Lightnings, he has 6 of them... There are about 3 that I know of that has the 5-sp conversion... you didn't take a picture of that ex-cab lightning? I can't find any documentation on them. I thought they were all regular cab trucks.

These were not biult by Ford, but was a Ford deal with Full Effects Customs....Ford sent a few lightnings to Full Effects Customs, with a X-cab, then they cut the frame and added all the extensions... there was around 30 built in 93 and 30 in 94.....To my knowledge, there is 4 in the USA today.....here they are..... This is the buyers X-cab Lightning...This was as we were loading up all the stuff.....We loaded both trucks with all the stock stuff...yep I kept all the stock stuff...
