Who would be interested in going back to VIR for full course two days?

This event would apply to more of the local folks but anyone is welcome to attend. The potential event would be in January and we would not run unless we had good weather conditions.

If you are interested, then post here. The cost would be under $300.00 for SCMC and TCUSA members.

Just post if you would go if the weather was sunny and 50 degrees. I'll post more details if we can get a good group of people to commit.

Thanks, but no-thanks, as the first part of the 705miles one-way trip will probably be in 6" of snow...

See you in the warm season!

I'll post the potential list on the link at the top.

Darius, I know it will be tough on some people to make it but in the south, one day it could be 4 inches of snow and three days later it could be in the mid fifties as far as temperature goes. It's a pot shot but I guess I don't want to go through all winter having open track withdrawals. :D

That's why we have the weather clause concerning this event. Let's just hope we have good weather for that weekend.

I would be in except that the first 300 miles from my home would be through tons of salt and snow...sorry guys. Next time!

Can't wait to go back to VIR!

We understand about the weather for our northern counter parts, this will apply more toward the local junkies that don't want to wait to May and are going through withdrawals. ;)

Last time I ran my 2008 Dan Gurney Saleen. I haven't decided if I will bring the Saleen or my Corvette.

The registration form is up for this event. Please remember our fair weather clause for this event. You have until January 15, 2010 to get the early bird discount.

Tony, I would consider this if I can get the car ready in time. This really shortens the "off" season but that's not a bad thing.

I understand but I'd rather do full course VIR at the end of January then do CMP the first week of March. I put this event together for those of us that don't want to wait till May to run the full course. I'd be going through track withdrawals by then. :D

Sorry I wasn't clear, I WILL consider this. Just have to redo the plan for doing the winter work. Hope to see you there.

Tony:
Could not pull up the registration form for the VIR event in Jan. because I am not a track club member I guess. Can you post the form on the SCMC website. Thanks. Roger

Roger,

You should be able to click the link in the first post on the second page and the form should come up. If it doesn't work for you, I need you to let me know and I will send it direct to your mail box and two, go to www.adobe.com and upgrade your adobe software so you can download the form and the next ones that come out.

You do not have to be a Track Club member in order to download the form, it works the same for anyone whether you are a member of either club or not.

Thanks,

T

I really hate the weather is going to do this to you guys...

Is it kosher of me to mention that THSCC will be there the following weekend, and that we still have openings in all groups? :grinangel
