Hey gang,
Just found your forum so I wanted to say Hi & introduce myself. I'm from Chester County PA (near Philly) and I just bought a '96 Cobra Convertible - triple black - as my mid life crisis car. It's got 116,000 miles and looks like it's been road hard and put away wet, but it's not too bad. I need to rebuild the rear - looking at 3.73 gears and the carbon fiber disk set from Ford Racing, replace all 4 brakes and rotors - trying to figure out the best products for the least money, and a few other odds and ends. It's all there though and it doesn't look too bad and for the most part runs pretty well plus I got it for a good price so I think it will be fine. While it will be a street (almost) daily driver for the most part I definitely want to do a few track days, drag races and autocrosses with it. I'll be taking it easy though due to the high miles.
Does the Club have a lot of participation in the SE PA area? If so I will definitely join the club.

welcome, congrats on the purchase. You might consider 4.10 gears for the car. They will give you a little more seat of the pants fun than the 3.73 gears. Have fun with your new car. We would love to see photos of the car.
