Anyone out there have alot of knowledge of lcd tv's? I have got it down to these 2 tv's, but what do you think.
It is the Toshiba 46" Class 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, 46XV640U or the
Samsung 46" 1080p 60Hz HDTV with Built-in Digital Tuner, LN46B530
Here is the walmart link to both tv's.

I just got a new Samsung650 for Christmas and the picture is outstanding. I have never seen a TV that looks so realistic.
Now with that said, they are known to have problems with the capacitors but once they are replaced, they are supposed to be trouble free. I went ahead and got a 3 year warranty with it where Sears comes out to the house and fixes it. I knew this going in but the football is freaking awesome. You almost feel like you are there.
The 650 is 120Hz like the Toshiba you suggested. I would not go with a 60Hz as that its how many times the screen is refreshed. I recommend the 120 but I do not know anything about the Toshiba. Before you buy anything, I recommend you do a Google search. "Toshiba 46XV640U complaints" and see what comes up, do the same for the Samsung and compare. This will help you to make a decision. HTH...

I just bought an lcd tv and did alot of research on it. with the 60 hz technology you are going to see a good bit of motion blur. If you can swing it opt for a 240 hz model. I have seen the Samsung LN46B750 for just at a grand at Fry's.. I went with the 52" version of it.. I think the extra 200 would be worth it. It gets the best non LED ratings from Cnet too.
