i have a 2008 gt500 with a pulley change, non cat exhaust and mbrp tips. the car dyno'd 510 rwhp with a ford racing cai. i was wondering if a bigger cai would bring more power. the car dyno'd 465 stock. thanks for any help........

That has to be a first. To answer your question there is HP to be made with a good intake and tune. My preference is the JLT Carbon fiber. I cant make any claims to how much though.

sorry about that, bad description of what i've done. there is a ford racing cai that i installed using the ford racing tuner. everything else was done at the shop. the JLT was one of the ones i was looking at. it looks much bigger. the car was retuned on the dyno after the exhaust and pulley change. from what i have been reading in the mustangs mags i should have picked up at least another 20hp. i need to be educated. i used to be a ricer but i have seen the light.

Most cars with JLT CAI and pulley end up vbetween 425-540 RWHP.

Jay i will be replacing the ford racing cai for the jlt on wednesday and then doing a dyno tune. will post the results asap.......
