Former SCMC member and Lightning owner, Cliff Hemstock, passed away last night around 9:00 p.m. Cliff was a great guy who loved to drive track and was always there to help instruct at our GingerMan events. He will be missed greatly by those who he taught the open track hobby. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I put a video up of me riding passenger in the Lightning boy that was a scary ride :D Cliff was am amazing guy! I met him at Gingerman, and saw him at IRP and a track in Joliet, Il. one of the times I was at Gingerman he signed his name in the brake dust on the car I was running and I did the same to his Lightning wheels, was a joke each time one saw the other at another track, and I knew Cliff was there :rotf:He was a Great Guy and will be missed by many! I found out on Easter Sunday, I knew he was ill, but when he didn't return my emails, I knew something was wrong and sure enough his Daughter had emailed me :( he was a man that lived his life to the fulliest!
