hey, car idles fine, oil level is good. I let the car warm up, and went for a ride. When I got on the car hard, going from 1st to 2nd, the car bogged down really hard, and it didn't sound near as aggressive as normal. Any ideas? I was thinking plugs, but have heard maybe clogged cats.

Check the fuel filter also...I assume there's no check engine light?
Does it bog down at 3200 rpm's? If so, you could need the IMRC's cleaned...they can get sticky.

I didn't get to see where the rpm level was, but that sounds around the area. I do have a cel, need to check what it is

If you don't have a scanner, just run over to AutoZone, or the like, and they'll run the codes for you.
Then the following link will describe them:

that sounds very familiar to me. I had the same issue last summer and it was the IMRC plates sticking. A friend and I spent about 6 hours tearing it apart and cleaning them...its a bit a pain.
I also found a grommet on the valve cover leaking oil down into one spark plug.

it looks like I have my work cut out for me. I will see what I can get done on my own.

just my .02, but when you do this, you might want to go ahead and change out your plugs and pcv valve; if needed. I'm only saying this because you're going to be under the hood any way, and it will only take another 20-30 minutes to do them while you're there.
and that article is the one that I followed...it was a huge help!
