1999 cobra ignition problems

So my car started acting up on me so I took to the dealership I bought the car from. A couple weeks ago I went to turn the car on and wouldn't turn over. The shop has replaced the battery and the starter but it will turn over a couple of time and then randomly won't turn over and all you hear is a loud click. At this point I have no idea what it could possibly be. Anyone have any suggestions for me on how to fix this and get me back on the road.

Check the starter wires for bad connections and the battery terminals too. i dont trust any shop what so ever and it sounds like they might have left the power wire a little loose to the starter. thats what my brothers car does because when i replaced his clutch my friend lost the clip that holds the starter wire tight. Thats about all I can guess without looking at it personally. hope it helps.

Check all connections and make sure they are tight. The ground going to the motor mount on the driver's side needs to be snug. Don't wiggle it and be satisfied that it doesn't move, put a socket on it and make sure its snug! If all connections are tight, check battery posts, clean off any corrosion, and tighten. If you are still having problems, then try the following and save your self hundreds of dollars replacing the starter, battery, cables, and etc :mad: :

Go to O'reilly's and get a grounding cable with "loops" on each end. Attach one end to your negative battery terminal, and the other end to the STEEL bracket close to the power steering fluid resevoir. My mechanic did this to mine, and now she starts better than before. He advised that the factory ground is attached to the aluminum block which is a poor ground. If the bolt gets corroded, it can cause starting problems. He was right! :D
