Anyone thinking about attending this event being held on July 9th and 10th in Dublin, OH?-I went with several members last year and we had a good time except for rain.

Sounds good, i will check to see where Mike R. is going to stay. I sold the Saleen, and now have a 2009 GT 500. I will tell the story on this one when I see everyone.

Geez John, you buy and sell much more, people are going to start calling you Mike M! Gt500 wow, can't wait to hear this! Can't wait to see everyone. After talking to a few people at a show a few weeks ago, there is going to be a huge number of mustangs this year. To the point where the entire mustang club of Ohio is planning on getting there earlier on Friday, and leaving their cars overnight to make sure they get decent spots for sat. Just something we want to think about.

I am thinking about leaving Perrysburg around 6-630 A on Friday which will put me down there around 8:30-9A. If you guys get there first, please save me a spot for my car.

thanks

John

Sounds good, I am going to try for between 9:30am and 10 am - I might run over to the Hotel-Hyatt Place and check-in early just in case they overbooked and then go to registration - my cell is 313-549-9624 so just let me know where we want to meet up.

I can't wait guys, should be a great weekend!

I plan on heading over there around 10 on friday, just to make sure we get good spots. I am going to talk with colleen tonight, I might drop my van off in the parking lot thursday night, so that if we decide to leave our cars there overnight, we will have a vehicle to get us home. That way we can have good spots for friday, and not have to get there at the crack of dawn. I have already seen posts on other forums of guys planning on getting there 6ish sat morning to get spots.

Also, I figured we could grill out at my place friday night! Just let me know what you think.

My cell is 614 205 2649, incase you guys don't have it.

Youknow I would much rather be racing. Just not in the budget. This atleasy gives me an excuse to hang with my good car friends. You should come up, just hang out for a while.

I also had a great time this weekend. All the cars looked great, and saw a ton of cars that I have never seen before in my life. Can't wait until the next time we all get together. And remember, we all need to start saving our pennies for VIR next year:thumbsup:

Come on man, give it up. We already know you traded in American muscle for some rice.

What is up with your 97, last we talked you were going to set it up for ESP, maybe a watts link?

It's a Civic si, and yes rice if you want to call it that but it is amazingly balanced, 1000 plus pound lighter than the Cadillac was, and from what my research has shown, it doesn't fall apart like the Cadillac did. I have the new transmission, clutch and flywheel in the 97. I'm just trying to decide how far to go with it. I'm thinking it will be a track only car now, it's just a matter of deciding which way to go, MM or GR.

Having owned cars with both Griggs and Maximum, I would go MM again in a heartbeat. I liked the look, quality, fitment, and sales staff lightyears more. But you will find plenty of people on both sides of that fence. At the end of the day I think it comes down to what you are specifically looking for and price. Both at top notch parts!

I'm just looking into what I can and can't do within different series to find the flexible option to maximize the cars use. I'm hoping to have the Honda set up next year to go to the solo nationals so while I could run the Cobra some locally at AX's in CP, I don't want that to be the only option. I'm looking at using for NASA TT and a SCCA class, if I can find one.
