Full Throttle Ford Fest

SVT Cobra Mustang Club and Track Club USA are proud to present the "Full Throttle Ford Fest." The Car show is hosted by Life House Fellowship of Summit Point, N.C.

The event will be held at the world class location of Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA, just east of Danville, VA.

The Fest will consist of two days of open track, and an SVT, Mustang, and all Ford Show. Also available will be on site karting, skeet shooting, and more....

We will be running the full course on both Saturday and Sunday.

On line payment will be in the store shortly but the hard copy registration form can now be downloaded for those that want to pay with a check. Your options include two day on track registration, one day on track registration, hyperdrive (one 30 minute session on track in your car), or parade lap fee. You do not have to pay for parade laps if you already paid for either a one day or two day registration fee, the parade laps are included in that purchase.

The car show will have a separate registration. This form will be for the car show and tee shirt purchases only.

Also, the club with the most show participants who have paid for parade laps will get to go out on track as a group with no other cars out on the track during that time. That session will last 15 minutes and will be the full course layout.

Do not sign up to be an instructor for this event without being confirmed by Tony, otherwise you may not be approved to instruct. If your name is not on the instructor list, you are not confirmed as an instructor.

I have a Maximum Motorsports Standard Duty Torque-Arm (MMTA-1) and Panhard Bar (MMPBA) for sale. Both parts are new in box, never installed. I bought them directly from M/M several years ago and have never been able to get my Mustang project off the ground. The Panhard will fit 79-98 and the Torque-Arm will fit 79-04. I am asking $600 for them both. They run right at $800 new plus you will have to have them shipped.

I also have several sets of Hawk brake pads. They are all Blue compound.
HB125-9012-.650 These should be a Fox Mustang but not sure of specific applications.
HB189-9012-.595 These are a VW application. I think these fit alot of VW's
$30.00 per set.

I will have these items with me both days. I will be in the paddock with an ’09 Black Corvette, and potentially a Black Mercury Marauder and or a Black Toyota Matrix.

No, we want others to come in and take in the event. I'll find out if the track plans on it but we will not be doing that for this event.

I recieved an email from VIR about this event. It states "Spectator admission just $10.00 per day." Hope that helps Cobradon.

Why not just run the 94 Cobra?

Yes, the track is charging a spectator fee but that is for people who are not participating and their guests. In other words if you have guests with you in your vehicle, you/they will not be paying a spectator fee. If someone is coming in just to check the event out then they will be charged the $10.00. This has nothing to do with SCMC, it's a "FAC or facility access charge" that the track charges for letting people come on the premises.

Thanks Tony, Pat, Phil, Rick, all instructors, Billy and his staff for another fantastic event. It was a blast. Learned a lot, came away with a little cosmetic to the front, and 2 bent wheels. I am a beleiver now in keeping it whoed up for the frst 2 laps on cold tires. Looking forward to the next event:)

There was a Supercharged Lotus Exige in the Advanced/Solo "Blue" Group - he and I were running similar lap times - 2:19. He posted his best lap on YouTube, so I downloaded it and overlayed it with one of my laps! I thought it was interesting to watch the two steering wheels.
