Who would be interested in trying out the new Atlanta Motorsports Park in Atlanta, GA? The target date would be September 22-23, 2012. Please post if you would be interested, thanks!

I am sure that Scott would be interested. We can't make the SVT superfest this year, so this would give him another bit of track time.

He can always come with us to Summit Point in August, too. :)

Yes, we already do VIR twice a year and we are on the back up list for the fall event but it does not look like that is going to happen. It's either we do AMP or we just don't do a fall event at all.

I'd be interested. That track is only about 3 hours from me, compared to 6 hours for VIR. I keep skipping the VIR events because the distance is a bit too far.

I would be interested if I have enough vacation time left by then.

I'm in Nashville, have been going to Road Atlanta since Nashville Superspeedway shut down last October. Love VIR and will always be at the Superfest Memorial Dat, but AMS is way closer for a fall event and looks like a great track from their web site.

It's either we do AMP or we just don't do a fall event at all.

This is not a vote between VIR and AMP, it is to gauge if you would be interested in going to AMP since we do not have a fall event at VIR. I just want to know, who would be interested in going? Not only that, but if we want more members, we have to do other tracks besides VIR. This will allow club members to feel like they are a bigger part of the club as well as give you opportunities to meet new members.

I always try to look at it that if I can drive it in one day, then that's not a bad trip. If you leave at 6:00 am, you will be there in late afternoon. JMHO :D

I trailered my car to Daytona before, but that was for a week down there.

It's hard to spend a day out and a day back for a 2 day event.

But I do have plenty of time to work up to it. :)
