The SCMC, TCUSA, and Modular Boss.com are proud to present the 3rd annual "Full Throttle Fall Fest" at the new Atlanta Motorsports Park. The Car show is hosted by Life House Fellowship of Browns Summit, N.C.

The event is sponsored by:

SCMC
TCUSA
ModularBoss.com
Pro-Dyno, LLC
Data Plates Plus
Time Out Sportswear
Life House Fellowship

The event will be held at the new Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville, GA. The Fest will consist of two days of open track, and a free Top 20 SVT, Mustang, and all Ford Show.

On Track Participants:

What you will receive for your on track registration fee: ($50.00 discount if paid before September 1, 2012 and paid for in the SCMC store)

1. Two days of on track AMP full course

2. One event tee shirt

3. Parade Laps

4. All gate fees paid

We will be running the full course on both Saturday and Sunday.

Car Show Participants:

1. Free Top 20 Car Show so bring it out and shine it up! Winner gets a $100.00 cash award along with a trophy and must be present to win. No one can accept the cash for you. If you leave, the cash will go to the next participant in line with the most votes.

2. Optional Lunchtime Parade Laps = $20.00

Please note, this is a popular vote show. Here are the rules for the show:

1. All participants must preregister before September 15, 2012 in order to be eligible for the $100.00 cash award (includes plaque)

2. Any club with 10 cars or more can get their club logo on the event tee shirts. You must have at least 10 cars registered with your club's name on it and they must preregister before September 15, 2012. The participants that preregister must attend the event or they will not be eligible to have the club logo on the next year's event.

3. The group with the most participants can get 15 minutes on track during lunch time touring laps with just their group but they must have at least 10 participants in their group the day of the event. This means the most participants and not just 10 participants as stated above for logos on the tee shirts.

Hyperdrive Participants:

1. One 30 minute session in your car with an in car instructor

2. Includes Lunchtime parade laps

3. Includes Free Car Show

On line payment is available in the store at: http://www.scmcstore.com/store/product.php?productid=114&cat=0&page=&featured=Y

Check out the track video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUfZ2FsrL3w

A hard copy registration form can now be downloaded for those that want to pay with a check as we prefer a check rather than on line payment.

Your event options include two days on track registration, one day on track registration, hyperdrive (one 30 minute session on track in your car), or parade laps. You do not have to pay for parade laps if you already paid for a one day registration, two day registration, or a hyperdrive fee, the parade laps are included in that purchase. If you enter the free Top 20 car show, parade laps are not included in your registration fee.

The club with the most show participants who have paid for parade laps will get to go out on track as a group with no other cars out on the track during that time. That session will last 15 minutes and will be the full course layout.

Tony,

Do you have any information concerning camping at the track? Also, do you know if they close it up at any certain time or is it run like VIR?

I emailed the track on Friday night and have not heard yet. From their website it seems pretty primitive with only 110v power. I will see if they reply.

Tony,

Did you ever find out anything from the track about camping and electricity? They never responded to my emails.

I think you guys are gonna enjoy AMP. I was there with the Porsche Club a few weeks back and had a blast. This track is different than most in that it is more like a twisty curvy mountain road with lots of elevation changes and a few blind turns. You will work your ass off getting around this track! It's not an especially fast road course although I was seeing around 130 going into the brake zone for T1 after figuring out the best line through the sweeper and the little kink coming onto the front straight. I also found the track to be fairly easy on tires and brakes.

If you have a few extra bucks and want to stay closer to the track there is a brand new bed & breakfast place across from the entrance to the track that a few folks stayed in. It's the only place even remotely close. They said it was very nice also.

Hey Tony ... good to see you're still active and exploring new tracks. This one looks to be a dandy.

We sold all the cars a couple years back and moved to Florida .... got real lazy.

Best regards to you and the club

Tony, received the info packet and want to be clear on the reference to minimum tread - street tires only? My Hooziers not legal on dry days? Thanks

cobrabitn
09-16-2012, 05:47 PM
That number is for street tires. Are you running slicks or street tires?

Thanks Tony for all of your hard work to make events like this possible. For those that didn't attend you missed a great event with PERFECT weather. The staff at AMP was extremely friendly and very attentive to our needs. Despite being a brand new facility I give them an A+.

Tony,
As with all the others kudos as usual on a great event. I hope the club did not take a bath with the low attendance but there is nothing like showing up at a track with a green flag posted basically all day all weekend! Loved chasing you around in your new Boss 302 in the stock motor green e46, best laps I had were trying to keep up!
Thanks again. Todd
p.s working on saving up for a 'stang that I won't blow up twice a year ;-}

I have not got 100% confidence in this link, because it did not cooperate when I e-mailed it to myself, so if it does not work, go to YouTube and type in SVT Cobra Club @ Atlanta Motorsports Park and you can view the slideshow there, it is 7:29 :)
