We now have an endurance race scheduled for May 25 at Victory Lane Karting. If you're not familiar with this, it's an indoor facility in Charlotte, NC setup for their high speed karts. Similar to Go-Karts but without a governer, they'll do 30mph! And this is on a tight road course layout.

The endurance race is 2 hrs long on that Saturday afternoon. Starts at 4pm. First 30 minutes are practice time(about 15 min per person). Then the enduro race begins with teams of 3. After 10 minutes of racing, you'll "pit" to switch drivers. You keep doing this till the end to see what team's car comes in first.

If you've never tried this, it's definitely worth experiencing! Cost is only $40 for the entire endurance race. Helmets are required but provided by VLK if you don't have your own.

We can only have a maximum of 30 slots but must have a minimum of 24. Currently there are about 15 signed up. If you're interested, let me know ASAP to reserve a spot before they're gone. You don't pay till the day of the event.

This will happen immediately after our all Yellow Mustang Show in Gastonia (http://www.yellowmustangregistry.com/SoutheastCarShow.htm)so come hang out with a bunch of Mustang and Cobra nuts on a hi speed karting track! Bring your friends or family if you like.

The minimum age is 16 with a drivers license. But there is plenty of great viewing areas to watch and cheer you on. ;) I'll put you down on the list. See ya there at 4:00! Do you know where it is?

Well I've been told that I won't be able to attend anyway! My wife's family is having a "reunion" and baby shower for one of her first cousins that day! :( :( :( So it looks like I'll be attending a "family" event instead!

Jeff, I was really glad you could make it out. The karting was a blast and will definitely do again soon. Wish the rest of you could have joined us. ;) We had 15 racing nuts out there in our Super Grand Prix. Great racing.
