On the way into work today, two guys in a mid 90's SHO kind of riced with a GIANT muffler on the rear keep messing around with me pacing, hopping the front end, etc. Traffic opened up a little and they shot by on my left, I got on it, but as I was going 40 or so in 4th, acceleration was less than impressive to say the least. Next light catches us, they take of spinning wildly and race to the next light. I pull up and they proceed to rev the engine and hop so I figure why not teach them a lesson. Light turns green, both floor it they jump me at the light, but the boost starts coming on at 2500 and I pull ahead, by 4000 in 2nd the boost needle is pegged at 18 and they are 5 lengths or more back and fading fast. I shifted to 3rd and slowed down and let them do their flyby and just laugh at their "fast" car. If I see them again, I may have to tell them that they got beat by a 3900 lb car with 250k miles and a 4 cylinder. BTW car is my daily driven stock bottom end 88 turbocoupe. Man I still miss my SVO.:(
